About the up-coming Indoor League:
- We are offering divisions for Men's and Coed teams.
- We will be playing a 8-or-10-game session.
We anticipate men's games on Thursdays and/or Mondays, with coed on Tuesdays
and/or Wednesdays. (This could change depending on the number of teams
entered in each division.)
- Games will be played at the
BanCorp South Sports Complex in Southaven, Mississippi (3335 Pine
Tar Alley, near the corner of Getwell and Goodman Road). (If you haven't been to this facility, it's
very nice...it's worth the drive!)
- Teams must have a MINIMUM of 11
players on their roster to play...for coed teams, this includes a
minimum of three women.
- All players will register on-line, just as
they do for GMSA outdoor play. Cost will be approximately $30.00 per player.
Individual player registration will begin after teams are confirmed.
- All GMSA rules regarding registration,
rosters and player cards will be enforced, just as they are for outdoor
play. (Player cards and rosters will be kept on permanent file at the
facility...teams will need to supply a list of jersey numbers before the
season starts.)
- All GMSA rules regarding uniforms will also
be enforced. (All jerseys must be identical in color, brand, and style with
permanently affixed numbers...no mismatched shirts, no taped-on numbers.)
- All information (cautions, send-offs,
2-minute penalties, and goals) will be tracked.
- There will be two referees at each game.
Each team will pay one referee $20 cash at the field.
- Matches times will be 6:30, 7:30, 8:30 and
possibly 9:30 PM, depending on the number of teams entered.
